All of you must have heard about the great Kalidasa, but now in this 21 century a new poet(?) called Kolidasa(Great Poet) is becoming famous. These are some of his gems.

ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರು ಕೋಳಿದಾಸ
ನಾನು ತಿನ್ನೋದು ಬರೀ ಖಾಲಿ ದೋಸ!
ನನ್ನ ಕೋಳಿಯೇ ನನಗೆ ಸ್ಪೂರ್ತಿ
ನನ್ನ ಮನೆಲ್ಲಿದೆ ಅದರ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಮೂರ್ತಿ!!

Writing a Personal Diary !

I have always fancied maintaining a personal diary , in which i hoped to pen down some memorable events in my life. I have tried to write a diary but all of my efforts have ended up without bearing fruit. I would enthusiastically choose a new diary of the current year , a big one, then would lie down on my bed and start to write. As soon as I'm done writing my name on that diary, I was unable to figure out what to write in it. I would end up writing "I got up at 8, had breakfast, watched a movie at 10, had lunch, watched another arbit movie, had snacks, another movie , dinner, movie, sleep" . I wrote for some 5-6 days , then got bored and in the end stopped writing the diary.
I had faced some problems when i decided to write a diary, how much detail to write? what to write ? in what language to write ?
I was afraid that some one would read my diary, so i decided not to write too much details about anything, in doing so i ended up writing only my sleep and eating routines !
One of the main problems I faced was in which language to write a diary,
My mother tongue is telugu, and the next language i learnt was kannada, then i learnt english. writing in english would break my flow of thoughts and i had to translate some of them to english. I tried writing in kannada, thanks to my beautiful handwriting , even i was not able to make out what i had written !! I wanted to write it in telugu, but i havent learnt writing telugu.
I was unable to successfully write a personal diary, so i thought why not blog about writing a personal diary and i got my first blog entry ! hope reading this was not one of your life's saddest moments, if it was then go and write it in ur personal diary!

My first post - trip to dharmastala

Final year has a lot of free time to offer. We have 4 day weekends , only 2 courses for the semester, what else to do? I had been to dharmastala . As it was christmas - holiday for all - there was a hell lot of rush in the temple. I had to wait for a three and half hours in the sun for darshan .
i'm just posting some photo's of the visit here.
